AI tutor that holds video conversations with students, transcribes the sessions, and generates personalized study plans from what you discussed.
Nora AI (noratutor.xyz) is an AI tutoring product centered on real-time video conversations rather than a chat box. Students talk to Nora the way they would with a human tutor — face-to-face on video — and the system transcribes the session, identifies what the student is struggling with, and turns those gaps into a personalized study plan they can work through afterward.
The combination matters: chat-based AI tutors are good at answering questions but bad at noticing when a student is confused, distracted or bluffing through a topic. By moving the interaction to a transcribed video conversation, Nora gets closer to the feedback loop a real tutor uses — read the student, then adjust.
The app is built with Bolt and is featured in Appwrite's "Examples of vibe coding" roundup as a representative AI-tutoring product shipped on a vibe-coding stack. The product's X account is @noratutor. Technically, the live site is a Vite-based single-page web app with Paystack wired in for payments — a strong signal that the primary launch market is Africa (Paystack is the dominant payment processor in Nigeria and across West Africa), where AI tutoring is a fast-growing category.
Nora is a good example of how vibe-coded apps are not limited to lightweight utilities — combining live video, speech-to-text, structured study-plan generation and payments is non-trivial, and the team has assembled all of those pieces with Bolt as the primary builder.
