Upload a PDF, enter an address, and PrintPigeon prints and mails it for you — built in three days with Lovable for $38 in credits.
Overview
PrintPigeon is a UK-based service that turns sending physical mail into a single web upload. A user drops in a PDF, enters a recipient address, pays, and PrintPigeon handles printing and posting on the other end. Founder Yannis built the entire product in three days using Lovable, spending only about $38 in Lovable credits before turning on real paying customers.
What It Does
PrintPigeon collapses the print-and-post workflow into a few clicks: upload a document, choose options, pay, and it gets printed and dropped in the mail to a destination address. The use cases range from sending official letters and contracts to mailing personalized prints when the sender doesn't own a printer or doesn't want to deal with the post office.
How It Was Built
Yannis built PrintPigeon with Lovable as the primary development environment, wired into a small set of best-in-class third-party services:
- Lovable — application UI and core logic
- Supabase — database, auth, and file storage for uploaded PDFs
- Stripe — checkout and payments
- Resend — transactional email for receipts and status updates
The entire build, from idea to live paying customers, took three days. Yannis is featured on both the Lovable blog and madewithlovable.com as a canonical example of a complete, monetized SaaS shipped on minimal credits.
